"The
Mystical Music of the Middle East," an intercultural concert
led by Oscar-winning composer Yuval Ron, took place Sunday, March
18th, at Saint Mark's Cathedral.
The moving musical program wove Jewish, Sufi
and Christian Armenian musical traditions from Morocco, Lebanon,
Iraq, Israel, Palestine, Yemen, Armenia and Andalusia.
The highly successful program attended by several hundred guests
was organized by Find Common Ground, and co-sponsored by Bishop's
Committee For Peace And Justice In Israel/Palestine; Brit Tzedek
V'shalom; Saint Mark's Episcopal Cathedral; and World Affairs
Council.
